Quad Cities Woodturners Club
The Quad Cities Wood Turners Club is is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners and is composed of wood turners from the eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois area. The chapter meets for the purpose of getting to know other turners and sharing of one another's ideas.
Club Meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month at the DeSoto Building, 2324 3rd Ave, Rock Island, Illinois.
Meetings include the following:
- Mentoring Session from 5:00 - 6:30
- Business Meeting begins at 6:30
- Critique of turnings brought in by club members
- Raffle of wood and items donated by members
- Shop Tips
- Demo or panel discussion of turning techniques and tools
